Horne Family Foundation Division of Environmental Protection, Wildlife Preservation, and Animal Welfare Invitation Only Process

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO OUR GRANTMAKING STRUCTURE:

As of Spring 2022, the Foundation’s Division of Environmental Protection, Wildlife Preservation, and Animal Welfare will be making grants by invitation only and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The Foundation has committed to long-term, relationship-based grant funding and our budget will now be focused on more impactful donations.

The Environmental Protection, Wildlife Preservation, and Animal Welfare Division will identify and solicit selected IRS determined 501(c)(3) and 509(a) organizations to explore and develop meaningful collaborations that address our interests and priorities within the stated focus areas (see below).

The Foundation will send out requests for Letters of Interest twice a year. From these solicited LOIs the Foundation will then request a full proposal from select invitees. An invitation does not guarantee funding, all LOIs and subsequent full proposals are reviewed carefully and with great consideration.
